General Event Discussion

Hey guys, we need to figure out what car we are going to be using for this series. Also I would like to point out that the way that teams are chosen, is a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis! This means on August 22nd when they post up the differnt designs for each car, each design will have three slots. The first three people that pick a particular design will be teamed up so we are not guaranteed to be on the same team unless we are really quick and communicate about what design we pick from the list once it is opened.....


Now, first thing we need to do is pick a car... then we'll discuss how we are going to get on the same team, and discuss designs.

I think I'll go ahead and make both paintjobs, the yellow one and the black one just in case we don't get into the black one in time, maybe we can snag up the yellow one...

I've just done some testing and I know last night I said I'd use the Ferrari but I've now decided to use the Corvette as I just took over half a second off my quali time from last season at Suzuka.

Sweet, if we can get two more drivers, we can start another corvette team to run the yellow car. Looks like we need to start looking really hard for 2 more drivers. I'll finalize the paint for the yellow car as soon as I can.

Well seeing as we currently have 4 drivers you can have 2 in each seeing as only the top 2 score team points anyway.

Thats right, we'll just have to figure out the best way to assign teams.

What about having a test session to see who is fastest then putting the two fastest in one team and then the others 2 in the other team or mix them together.

give us a better spot up the line... the other two will just do their best.. (me and someone else..lol)

That makes sence, plus it will be a good photo op to show off the new paints (almost done with them both now)

A photo op would also be a good way to try and advertise the club to get new members. Like have a fifth car in the backgroung covered in F2 Racing logos or something like that.

A big truck might work good for that, sort of an F2 Racing pit crew vehicle or something...

Any update on the cars as the livery draft is now open?

Not that I know of, I sent hellbringer a message today about running the second vette and getting the number plate.

Hey guys, there is allreay talk about not cutting the pit on Motegi over at the IFCA forums. This pit entrance is TRICKY so practice. Its one of the worst, if not the worst pit entrance in the game... Don't get a penalty for cutting through the grass! Practice the pit entry.

Ive watched you and its ridiculus. They should not require you to pit, or at least not penalize you for it when you run in the dirt.
