    IFCA JGTC SERIES 11

    Series Organiser : VVV Hellbr1ng3r
Series Support Team : F4H Koenigsegg, Shota AydindriL, VVV Mattystang

    Sundays: 14:00 CST / 20:00 GMT(UK) / 03:00 West OZ (mon)
    (times taken from worldtimezone.com)

IFCA events are catered for fun, clean, competitive racing. All skill levels are welcomed to participate but all we ask is that you are committed to the event. This means, if you sign up an event, you should complete it.
If you are not committed, then the IFCA isn't for you

This event will see you replicating the SuperGT; Japanese Grand Touring Cars with high-horsepower RWD machines, racing with limited assists! As an added change to Series 11 there will be two classes - GT500 and GT300 - running simultaneously. Both classes are restricted to the first 100 Sign Ups only due to the gamertags friends list size restriction, meaning a potential of 200 signups for this series

Sign Up period for both classes begins Wednesday 11th August and closes Saturday 11th September - the first race is Sunday 5th September

THIS IS AN IFCA CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT

Competing in this series means you will collect IFCA Championship Points - these points will determine who will be in the grande finale at the end of the season, to play for money and prizes, as well as the bragging rights!

To learn more about this and what the IFCA Championship is all about, click here

    SPONSORS
Turn 10 - They will be providing prize cars and credits

    THE CARS

There are two seperate classes of cars for this series!

To view the Official JGTC GT300 class cars,
To view the Official JGTC GT500 class cars,

    TEAMS

Teams are formed when they choose their liveries in the Cars and Liveries thread which will open on Sunday 22nd August at 14:00 CST / 20:00 GMT(UK) / 03:00 West OZ. A team consists of either 2 or 3 drivers but only the 2 best point scoring drivers will contribute to the team for that race meeting. Teams are locked after Race 1 and the points are based off the regular points scheme, with a permitted dropped result from your final total

    QUALIFYING

Please be online and ready to race at 13:45 CST / 19:45 GMT(UK) / 02:45 West OZ (mon). All drivers will get an invite from their room host

Qualifying will take place at 14:00 CST / 20:00 GMT(UK) / 03:00 West OZ (mon), and you will have 20 minutes to set your best certified lap. The pits are open throughout the session to as many pit stops as you want. Once 20 minutes have passed on the Race Timer, all current hot laps can be completed but no new laps can be started. Once current laps are completed, please pull off the track and ensure the lobby host has received all the qualifying times. If you finish before the 20 minutes are completed, please pull off the track out of the way of other drivers and wait patiently. Any drivers that lagout or leave the session, will have their best time used as displayed by the results screen. No driver is to drive backwards around the track

    CERTIFICATION
Each driver must have a certified lap achieved on their first lap. A slow cautionary lap must be carried out by every driver, staying on the track and away from the grass, curbs and walls. If your lap becomes uncertified, you will have to sacrifice another lap to achieve this very simple task, so go slow and be careful. All uncertified times will be placed behind certified times in order of fastest to slowest

(Collisions OFF, Limited Damage, Driving Line: OFF / STM: OFF / TCS: OFF)

    RACE NIGHT

Race Night will begin once Qualifying is completed and the times collected and ordered. All drivers will get an invite from their room host

When in the lobby, all drivers must assign themselves to their correct group. Please check the table below to see which group you should be in according to your car choice, and car class

    JGTC GT500 Class Groups

GROUP 1 GROUP 2 (-5% Front and Rear Grip) GROUP 3 (-10% Power Handicap)
    2003 #12 Nissan Skyline R34 2008 #23 Nissan GT-R R35 2005 #11 Ferrari 550 Maranello
    2005 #8 Honda NSX-R GT 2008 #6 Lexus SC430 1997 #43 McLaren F1
    2005 #6 Toyota Supra 2006 #007 Aston Martin DBR9
    2007 #4 Chevrolet Corvette C6.R 2010 Mosler MT900

    JGTC GT300 Class Groups

    GROUP 1 GROUP 2 (-5% Power Handicap) GROUP 3 (-15% Power Handicap) GROUP 4 (-20% Power Handicap)
    2003 #77 Subaru Impreza 2001 #6 BMW M3 GTR 2005 #46 Nissan 350Z 2000 #91 Dodge Viper GTS-R
    2005 #31 Porsche 911 GT3-RSR

Both Race 1 and 2 are ordered by Qualifying positions. Each race will begin with a Pace Lap for the rolling 2x2 gridded start on Lap 2, and will be controlled by the Pole Sitter. He can choose to start on the left or the right side of the grid, and will control the start of the race. The start speed will be 60mph / 97kph, and no-one is to start until the Pole Sitter has given the evenly spaced and timed "3, 2, 1, Go" countdown to the start, which will aim to be at the start/finish straight. Please ensure safe starts by leaving room between rows!

There is a mandatory pit stop for every race which must be taken at some point after the first 2 laps and before the last 2 laps. For example, for a 25 lap race, the pit window would be Laps 3 to 23. Whenever a driver enters or leaves the pits, they must call this out to the rest of the lobby. You must also stay on the tarmac at all times and try not to cut the pit entrance. When exiting the pit lane, you must stay to the side until you have got up to racing speed. Do not feed onto the racing line because this is dangerous

    RESTARTS
These can only occur if the following happens:
    - Damage-causing collision on the 'pace' lap
    - A driver lags out within the first 3 laps
    - Racing collision involving 3 or more cars within the first 3 laps
    - Large lag related crash (such as lag spike) resulting in 1 or more wrecked racing car.
    - Continuous lag by same racer (racer may be asked to retire if connection seems to dangerous by lobby host)

(Collisions ON, Limited Damage, Braking Line: OFF / STM: OFF / TCS: OFF)

    ADDITIONAL INFO

GT500 and GT300 cars will never be on the track at the same time. The 2 classes has been introduced to offer more variety than ever before in IFCA JGTC

Random car inspections will occur to prevent cheating. If your car does not match the specified build, you are excluded from the series

Out of 8 rounds, your best 7 results will count towards the championship standings. This means you can miss a round and still be in contention

You are required to have a microphone plugged in during the race meeting, otherwise how can we communicate?

It is recommended you save Replays. This may help rectify disputes

You cannot cut corners. Racing is done on the track only. Anyone caught cutting will face anything from a time penalty, grid penalty or DQ

    CONNECTIONS

Your connection is YOUR responsibility. You must ensure it is the best it can be. This includes :
    - turning off all other equipment using the internet during a race
    - being wired instead of wireless when possible
=== when wireless, making the signal strength the best it can be as denoted by the dashboard
    - finally as a last resort, resetting all equipment

It is highly recommended to get your NAT to appear OPEN (found on your dashboard). If you cannot connect properly on race day, then it will not be delayed. Conflictions with other racers preventing access to rooms will need to be sorted by those in question, and those 1 or 2 racers will need to sort their problems, or they will not be allowed to race. The person with the better qualifying will be allowed to race, as long as he does not conflict with others. It is strongly recommended to get online 30 mins before race time to work out any connection problems

This guide may help you sort your NAT problems

    Confliction on Race Night

If there is a confliction for your race room, you must find out who the confliction is with:
    a) Room Host invites all his players to room
    b) Driver who can't get in then opens a new room (correct settings)
    c) He invites everyone in
    d) Whoever can't get in is where the confliction is
    e) From these 2 drivers, the one with the better qualifying will be allowed to race

This process should not take longer than 5 minutes

    RACE OFFICIALS

If you have any questions or queries regarding any aspect of the series, get in contact with the Series Organiser and Support Team. Alternatively, Race Officials are available. Either PM them on the forum or send them a message on XBL. Don't send a friends request - it won't be accepted if we don't know you, or we don't have room. A message will be read though!

    FINALLY...

Communication is key! With limited damage, chances cannot be taken that will risk other drivers. No-one's race should be ruined by someone else's mistake.
